Leipzig will want to maintain current form and ensure they keep the pressure on both Bayern and Dortmund, after Dortmund dropped points at home to Bayern last night.
If recent form is anything to go by it looks a certainty that Leipzig will put a couple of goals passed Hertha Berlin tonight. Hat-trick hero, and the much prized Timo Werner will no doubt be wanting to add even more to his goal scoring tally.
Hertha Berlin have usually struggled at Leipzig, having lost six of their seven matches against them. That said, with new management and a replenished appetite maybe this could be a turning point in Hertha’s fortunes.
The key for Hertha will be to keep Werner away from the ball, his last match showed him to be almost unplayable. It’s hard to imagine he was such a barren run prior to their match against Mainz.
Leipzig go into this match with a few injuries, though Schick and Angelino are options as they both return from recent lay-offs.
We’re going for a home win, possibly looking at adding in a possible win by 2+ goals too. We’ve a feeling Werner is going to be on fire this evening.
