Both Chelsea and Brighton go into the match with additional quality. Brighton have the talented and experienced Adam Lallana to spice up the middle whilst Frank has both Havertz and Werner looking to make a debut. Lampard can also call upon both Pulisic and Azpilicueta who have recently overcome hamstring problems.
This is a new look to Chelsea and one that looks likely to deliver silverware of some kind this season. The opener is always tough and though Brighton have a solid backline we doubt it'll maintain for the entirity of the match.
All that said, and looking at past form we have to go with Chelsea for the victory. Our prediction is Brighton 0 - 2 Chelsea.
